The Ecofab3D returnable green reel

Ecofab3D is very proud to offer you its new “green reel”.
Why is our new reel green?
The choice of the color of our new reel is not only an aesthetic choice. This color also symbolizes a greener solution. This by offering you a deposit system, for your empty filament rolls, unique to Ecofab3D.
How does it work?
When you buy our new green spools, the price includes the deposit value of $2. Once all your filament is used, instead of getting rid of your spool via the traditional waste system. We offer to return it to Ecofab3D. Either via our "eco-recup" system at the same time as your 3D printing waste. Or by bringing it directly to our offices. We encourage you to group several empty spools together in order to reduce transport and the associated environmental impact.
What happens to returned empty spools?
Once your reels are returned, we collect them and put them through an inspection and cleaning process. This way we are assured that they are in perfect condition to be reused.
Why choose our green reels?
For a new generation of printer, cardboard spools are not recommended or simply not usable. Ecofab3D's green spool therefore allows you to continue using plastic spools while minimizing the impact of empty spools on the environment via the deposit system.
How does the eco-recovery system work for my reels?
When you are ready to return your empty spools, and/or your 3D printing waste. As with the traditional eco-recup system, simply log in to our online platform and request an eco-recup box via our contact form by selecting "eco-recup service". As always, our eco-recup boxes are free from your fifteenth spool or when purchasing ten spools in bulk at Ecofab3D. Once the spools are returned, we will credit the value of your deposits on your next purchase at EcoFab3D.
